Yeah, I wonder how many people are going to receive birthday cards or letters from Grandma weeks or months after she has died, she was very organised!

I guess she was always our favourite grandparent, not that the others weren’t lovely, but it was always really clear that she really, genuinely wanted to be with us and really, really loved us.

We’ll miss her a lot won’t we?!

Lots of love

Alex

Yes, Alex, we shall indeed miss Grandma. She had some stalwart characteristics resulting from the unique mixture of Fitch genes, being a member of a group of 8 siblings, being brought up the way she was, living through 2 world wars, developing a strong and resilient faith in Our Father God and the Lord Jesus Christ, and her particular manner of expressing that faith in practical loving and unselfish ways throughout her life. I think she is one of God’s precious jewels, and one day when Jesus returns she will shine with the righteous in His Kingdom of glory.
Thank you for the love you showed and still show towards her. God bless and keep you and keep her long in your memory. Much love, Mum
